Researchers
Researcher is one of the two roles a workspace member can have — the other is Admin. A workspace member with the Researcher role can create and run research, but can’t manage the workspace itself or its members.
Researchers build and manage surveys and idea banks, review results, and act on feedback. They’re part of your team, as opposed to panelists, the external participants who respond to your research.
Key points:
- The Researcher role suits members who run research but don’t need to administer the workspace.
- Because roles are set per workspace, the same person can have the Researcher role in one workspace and the Admin role in another.
- Like all workspace members, researchers sign in with Google, a one-time email code, or an email and password, and only ever see the data in the workspace they’re currently in.
What the Researcher role can do
A workspace member with the Researcher role can:
- Create, edit, and manage surveys
- Create, edit, and manage idea banks and their proposals
- View research results and activity
Managing the workspace itself — inviting people, changing roles, renaming the workspace, and managing API keys — requires the Admin role.
